Karil's is better but only very marginally so it's probably not worth using over d'hide once you facotr in repair costs. mage def barely matters at zulrah since the only magic damage you take is from the mage snakelings, and karil's range defense is barely better than black d'hide (+4 total from top and bottom). I take off my plate body and legs when I mage dharok and Karil for higher mage accuracy, then bring a range gear switch for Ahrim. It's right in the middle of the two for attack speed.Karil’s will give you the best DPS but it gets pricey since the bolt racks aren’t saved by Ava’s devices. MSB with rune arrows are better than RCB but slightly worse than Karil’s, but rune arrows work with Ava’s. Wait for blowpipe tbh. Blessed dhide is better as the improved magic defence is irrelevant, the ranged defence difference is marginal, the increased melee defence of d'hide helps against snakelings, and the prayer bonus helps not use as much supplies. I doubt it matters too much. I have been learning zulrah fairly successfully with blessed dhide and mystics.Karil is pretty easy at 70+ melee with a dds and super pots. All depends on stats and gear though. 75 atk and 74 str. No pots except prayer pots with torag, armadyl bracers, dragon boots, fury, and archer ring (i) is all my other gear.
